Hello!
Thanks for visiting us here at Dar-Walk's Online home!
A little history about us:
My first breed was Toy Poodles in 1958. I got my start in this breed
and in dogs while handling for a show kennel of 400 dogs in
California.
My next
breed was a fantastic lab, who went on to become the #1 conformation
dog in the United States in 1979. He also had numerous field titles.
Much of my goals for striving for versatility stems from his
successes.
From then, I don't know what possessed me. I started showing Chinese
Cresteds. In my many years in the breed, I produced about 50
champions. I then stuck with that group of dogs for a while, trying
my hand with Inca Orchids, Mexican Hairlesses, and American Hairless
terriers. I bred champions within each breed.
In 1983, I discovered Australian Shepherds at a rare breed show and
began that journey. I trained my first service dog (an Aussie),
whose name is Copper, who has been a loving companion. In 1996, I
also found a small aussie whom I fell in love with, starting my
efforts to produce quality small aussies (the original little dog
with the stump tail) who compete in many venues.
We embarked on the agility journey in 2004, and it is safe to say we
are completely hooked!
In all, I guess you could say I love dogs!! Please enjoy looking
through our pages. If you have any questions, feel free to drop us
an email...we love to talk dogs!
